As the rain eased away the cold air from the south enabled a dusting of snow to cover the top slopes of the Remarkables this morning.


As the rain eased away the cold air from the south enabled a dusting of snow to cover the top slopes of the Remarkables this morning. A sign perhaps that winter is on the way, although Dave Crow (the Queenstown weather guru) predicts a late start to the season, but that it will be a good one. "I think it will be into June before there is much snow on the mountains"
